Care & Maintenance

Simple tips to keep your cabinets, countertops, and closets looking beautiful for years to come.

Kitchen Cabinets

  • Wipe spills immediately with a soft, damp cloth
  • Use mild soap and water for routine cleaning — avoid harsh chemicals
  • Don't use abrasive sponges or steel wool on cabinet surfaces
  • Keep cabinets dry — wipe down after cleaning
  • Avoid hanging wet towels on cabinet doors
  • Tighten loose hinges and handles periodically

Countertops

  • Use cutting boards — never cut directly on countertop surfaces
  • Clean with gentle, pH-neutral cleaners
  • Seal natural stone countertops annually (granite, marble)
  • Use trivets or hot pads under hot pots and pans
  • Wipe up acidic spills (lemon, vinegar, wine) quickly
  • Avoid sitting or standing on countertops

Closet Systems

  • Dust shelves and rods regularly with a microfiber cloth
  • Don't overload shelves beyond their weight capacity
  • Use shelf liners to protect surfaces from scratches
  • Keep closet doors open occasionally to allow air circulation
  • Clean drawer slides with a dry cloth if they feel sticky
  • Reorganize seasonally to prevent overcrowding

Outdoor Kitchens

  • HDPE cabinets can be cleaned with soap and water or a pressure washer
  • Cover your outdoor kitchen during extended periods of non-use
  • Clean grill grates after each use
  • Check for debris buildup around cabinet bases
  • Inspect hardware and hinges seasonally
  • UV-protected materials won't fade, but keeping them clean extends their life
